The world’s toughest bicycle race!

  • The Race Across America is the toughest and longest ultra-enduracne race in the world. The main goal is to reach the finish line. It’s a challenge that half of the participants fail.
  • Unlike the Tour de France, RAAM ist not a stage race. While Tour de France racers can regenerate after every stage, RAAM racers do not.
  • The rule is: Whoever makes a break wastes precious time.
  • RAAM is a 4830 kilometer long single time trail. Racers who are fighting for victory only sleep 6 1/2 hours during the entire race.
  • The best racers reach the finish line under 9 days. The record time is 7 days 15 hours and 56 minutes. In the 35-year history of the race only 13 racers finished under 9 days. Only Gerhard Gulewicz didn’t succeed yet. That’s why 2017 Gerhard will participate in the Race Across America for the 12th time in a row.
  • Such fast times are related to a good organisation and a motivated support crew. That’s why Gulewicz Coaching & Cosultancy are searching for the super team.
